"I like the artistic aspect of my role" 3D Visualiser Larry talks about his career at MIAJA.

As the saying goes; find a job you love, and you will never work a day in your life.

I had a chat with one of our 3D visualisers Larry Calderon about his career at MIAJA Design Group.

Larry has a passion for art, and by working at MIAJA he has been able to express his creativity, and share his own art pieces in an upcoming exhibition.

What is your current role at MIAJA Design Group?

I'm a 3D Visualiser; I do renderings for luxury hospitality projects.

I also help with movie editing & presentations.

What do you like most about your role?

I like to be in the highly creative design environment we have at MIAJA. I love to paint and I create contemporary Art outside of work, so I like the artistic aspect of my role.

What are your interests outside of work?

I am an artist; I create contemporary pieces in my spare time, this is my main hobby.

Working at MIAJA has allowed me to enjoy my hobby, even in the workplace.

Because Managing Director Isabelle Miaja is also the founder of MIAJA Gallery located in the same building as our office in Singapore, I’ve had the opportunity to see amazing artworks, talk to the gallery Director, and share some ideas. This even led to an exhibition of contemporary art in the gallery organised by the Philippine Embassy, including my own artworks.

I'm am very happy about this!

What do you like most about working at MIAJA?

Our company motto is “The essence of style is to live the Art of being unique" and this is what I love; the unique & distinctive designs we create. I like MIAJA’s outstanding signature of the curating beautiful art into interior design projects, and the fact that art is at the core of the company ethos. This is very important to me from a career perspective.
