Season’s Greetings from Miaja Design Group,
As the year draws to a close, we reflect on a period of remarkable creativity and global collaboration. It is with immense pride and gratitude that we extend our warmest holiday wishes to our Clients, Partners, and Friends around the world.
This year has been one of significant milestones. We celebrated the completion of stunning destinations like the W Maldives, and contributed to world-class healthcare environments at Bumrungrad International Hospital. In this very newsletter, we are delighted to share the stories behind the transformative F&B Spaces at Club Med Sahoro and the pioneering VTL Longevity Clinic.
Looking ahead with excitement, we are thrilled to announce our continued expansion in the Philippines, with a new Country Lead set to commence in early 2026. This strategic step marks our deep commitment to the region and its dynamic design landscape.
As we turn the page to a new chapter, we thank you for being part of our story. Wishing you and yours a joyful holiday season and a prosperous, inspiring Happy New Year!
Warmly,
Isabelle Miaja, Managing & Creative Director

Club Med Sahoro, Hokkaido
‘Daichi’ All Day Dining
Izakaya Club - ‘Mina Mina’
Project Completion 2025
Interior Design by Miaja Design Group

Building upon the 2019 renovation of public areas and guestrooms, Miaja Design Group was engaged to reimagine the culinary heart of Club Med Sahoro: the 'Daichi' All-Day Dining and Izakaya Club 'Mina Mina' restaurants.
Nestled within the majestic Hidaka mountain range, these spaces extend the resort’s design philosophy, which harmonises authentic Ainu heritage with contemporary comfort. 'Daichi’ All Day Dining offers a vibrant, convivial atmosphere with multiple interactive stations, catering to global appetites after a day on the beautiful powdery slopes.
The Izakaya Club 'Mina Mina,' however, presents a deeply narrative-driven experience. Miaja Design wanted to capture the soul of a classic Tokyo izakaya, evoking its nostalgic, century-old charm through warm timber, soft lighting, and the iconic glow of lanterns. This design sets the stage for a ritual of shared enjoyment, where regional Hokkaido specialties and izakaya classics—from sashimi to steaming nabe—are paired with curated sake, shochu, and frosty beers. The result is a space that feels both timeless and lively, a modern social hubrespectfully layered with the textures of Japanese tradition, inviting guests to connect and celebrate amidst the alpine splendour.
