In 1995, Miaja Design Group, then known as IMA Interiors, was founded by Isabelle Miaja, a talented and visionary interior designer. Originally focused on providing high-end residential design solutions in Singapore, the firm quickly gained recognition for its exceptional work, serving discerning clientele and dignitaries across the region. As time passed, the company recognized opportunities beyond residential projects, embracing hospitality and commercial design. In response to this growth and expansion into diverse sectors, the firm later rebranded to Miaja Design Group, a name that now represents its comprehensive design capabilities and enduring commitment to excellence.

Isabelle Miaja
Managing & Creative Director
Isabelle Miaja started as an Interior designer in the US – creating designs for Homes in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles and Park Avenue New York – Later extending her Savoir Faire to Hotels.
Moving to Asia was a decisive move for her career. Beginning in Singapore was a learning experience – Starting again with Homes in the Lion City, she had to learn a new of life and new cultures –
Integrating Fung Shui and applying her skills with a whole different approach –She had to reinvent herself, bringing Europe back into her designs to blend East and West Creativity with her unique personal signature.
Art has always been part of her life as a child growing up – Her French grand-father being a Bronze Sculpteur , her Grand-uncle being the National Poet of Spain, paintings and Art Objects surrounded her since birth – Integrating her past into her Designs came naturally and gives her work that unique style.
Today, Isabelle Miaja is the Creative Director of Miaja Design Group. Chosen as one of the World most influential Designer, her portfolio includes Award winning City Hotels and Resorts, some of which she designed the Architecture – blending Culture, Art and creating stories which take root in the fabric of the place the project is being built is expressed through her passion for everything beautiful and meaningful.
Putting Art at the centre of her Designs and opening two Art galleries- Miaja Gallery and Miaja Art Collections - to support the known and upcoming artists she encounters as she travels the world – Isabelle Miaja is adding Publishing to her skills and started Last Year her first Art and Design magazine – Journal Artistique – It summarises what she believes in – Art & Design are the Pillars of every society – recognising and supporting Art is her Raison d’Etre – and she hopes to help talents be recognised by showcasing them through her work
Julian Miaja
Director of Operations & Finance
Julian Miaja is the Director of Operations and Finance at Miaja Design Group, a role he assumed ten years ago upon returning from his marketing and e-commerce work in London. He made significant contributions to the company's growth, particularly in the marketing strategy for the opening of So Sofitel Hotel in Singapore and subsequent hotels and resorts. Now leading the operations, Julian manages the team, project deliverables, and project management within the firm, ensuring seamless coordination and client relations for each project. His strategic vision, dedication, and expertise have elevated the company's reputation, making him a highly valued leader in the design industry.
Severine Miaja
Senior FF&E and Designer
Severine Miaja is a talented artistic collaborator with a decade of experience in the residential and hospitality project domains. Throughout her journey, she successfully balanced her education, attending La Salle College of The Arts in Singapore, where she earned a degree in Fine Arts. After graduation, Severine made an impactful entry into the family business, assuming the role of FF&E Designer.
Here, she immersed herself in the intricacies of residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, learning and collaborating with her peers. Her passion for design and dedication to her craft have seen her ascend to a senior position within the company. Presently, Severine leads projects creatively, working closely with Managing Director Isabelle Miaja to bring a unique and artistic touch to each endeavor. Her artistic flair, combined with her commitment to excellence, continues to be a driving force in the success of the projects she undertakes.
