Miaja Design Group brought its artistic expertise to the JW Marriott Kaafu Atoll Island Resort, curating and designing art for the guest room villas and public areas. The scope of work focused on blending contemporary Maldivian design with bespoke art pieces that reflect the resort’s tropical surroundings and luxurious ambiance.

In the guest room villas, the team curated art that complemented the private pools, deck areas, and ocean views, incorporating local Maldivian motifs and custom pieces to create a unique identity for each villa. For the public areas, including the lobby, restaurants, bars, spa, and outdoor spaces, the art consultancy designed striking installations and thematic artworks that aligned with the resort’s diverse culinary offerings and wellness experiences.

The result is a seamless integration of modern luxury and cultural inspiration, enhancing the resort’s aesthetic appeal and creating an immersive island paradise for guests.
