The new flagship Ibis Vikhroli in Mumbai, interior concept by MIAJA Design Group, is the new design standard for IBIS Hotels in India, with a focus on unparalleled comfort, convenience and connectivity.
The lobby area is smart, vibrant and contemporary. Wood, metals and reflective glass creates an "industrial chic" look in the interiors. A fun element of the reception desk design is the back panel with a mishmash of letters, revealing the word "Ibis" as the highlight of this feature wall.
As guests walk through the property, they will experience an effortless synergy between the lobby, lounge area & bar; they can move with ease from one space to the next in this cohesive space.
In the F&B areas, the earth-toned palette of wood with soft lighting creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The all-day dining restaurant also has a “hardware restoration” feel, softened by local artefacts, comfy, colourful furnishings, and a bespoke lighting concept with inviting words such as “delicious”.
Isabelle Miaja, Managing Director of Miaja Design Group comments:
"I want the hotel guest to feel the comfort of being at home in their living room, with casual lounge seating, and the technology we’ve come to expect from modern urban hotels in a digital age. This unique property will be a new hangout where people can relax, work privately, or network. 'People connectivity’ is an integral part of the ambience I wanted to create."
